Without a Face
Throw out your face
You don’t need it
What good did two eyes and a mouth ever do?
And a nose?
Surely that’s become antiquated in this day and age
Stick with your arms and legs
Those help you get around
But your face?
There’s nothing to it
Find the nearest waste basket
And peel it right off
Piece by piece
Maybe it’ll find a new home
But it had no business being front and center
Take a look in the mirror
Do you remember what was there?
Oh, how it dragged
Now you’re indistinguishable from the rest
Good thing you lost it when you did
